Process of customising your photos!
How do I turn your photos into custom personalised illustrations? The program I use is Adobe Illustrator, it is my BEST friend.
The process is quite simple in ways, however tedious in others. After placing your photo into Adobe Illustrator, I then use layers to start creating each individual in the photo. I create an outline of the body, face, clothing and accessories. I then fill each shape with colour using the eye dropper tool to capture the correct colour in the photo. I then start adding the finer details such as shadows, highlights, textures, facial features etc. This is the most time consuming part as I need to get the correct colour to make it realistic. I single person can take me up to 5-6 hours depending on how much detail is in the picture.
I am very passionate about these projects as I love seeing the reactions of clients when they receive their custom personalised illustration.
